Maintenance Sessions

Excluding some sort of external trauma, soft tissue does not suddenly become damaged. You don’t need to be injured to have a treatment, in the same way we go for regular dental check-ups and servicing of our cars – prevention is better than cure.

Regular maintenance massage reduces the build up of adhesions, tension and scar tissue in the muscles and facilitates optimal posture and movement efficiency. This leads to healthier muscles, being used in the correct way, resulting in reduced risk of injury and therefore more time spent doing your chosen activity.

A maintenance session can be considered as a ‘tune up’ and will normally last 30 minutes.
